Polish-owned capital group forming one of the largest IT players in Poland, in existence since 1991. The group provides advanced solutions for the energy, gas, Industry 4.0 and bioinformatics markets, and provides comprehensive outsourcing of IT services and software production for many global corporations. Transition Technologies primarily offers proprietary IT systems, technology solutions, and IT and engineering services. The Transition Technologies Group currently operates in 14 countries on 3 continents. The Group consists of 7 subsidiaries and 13 affiliates, operating in selected market areas (including industry, energy, international markets, outsourcing or integrated projects) and with their own operating models. The Group employs more than 2,300 people. In 2023, total revenues of Transition Technologies Group companies amounted to more than PLN 800 million.

A number of measures were taken to strengthen cooperation between entities in the Group. The priority was to use the full potential of all group members through coordinated sales activities. Thanks to the effective use of partnership channels of individual companies and foreign units operating within the Capital Group, good financial results were achieved. Cooperation within the Group is a key element of the development strategy, enabling efficient use of resources, exchange of knowledge and experience, and building synergies between different entities. Actions taken in 2023 are an important step towards building a strong and integrated organizational structure to achieve long-term business goals and remain competitive in the market.

TT systems have optimized the largest district heating network in Europe, causing a reduction of more than 145,000 tons of CO₂. This amount of carbon dioxide is absorbed by 223,068,181 trees, or 32,945 hectares of forest, for one year. This is roughly the area of Lodz.
The SILO optimizer, implemented at the Rybnik power plant, reduces CO2 emissions by 8,000 tons of CO₂ for a year. Such an amount of carbon dioxide is absorbed for a year by 1,291,818 trees – that’s 1,845 hectares of forest, which is roughly the area of Warsaw’s City Center.

Outsourcing of software services provided by TT Group companies allows strategic clients quick and easy access to qualified IT experts specializing in designing, building dedicated systems requiring functionally complex and technologically advanced software and often unconventional IT solutions. TT Group has specialized in creating dedicated outsourcing centers providing services only for a selected client. Such a model allows concentration of activities, strengthening of key competencies and long-term relationships with the client. Outsourcing of IT specialists in the TT Group is based on a deep understanding of the needs and joint implementation of the client’s business objectives by taking full care of entire IT systems or areas indicated by the clients, ensuring operational business continuity. An operational segment such as Outsourcing requires companies to constantly adapt to technological changes. Companies operating in this area are leaders on the Polish market in, for example, the implementation of such technologies as Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality or Internet of Things, but also in cooperation models using such approaches as manager services, body leasing or team leasing. The portfolio of TT Group companies includes dedicated, comprehensive systems to support electricity trading, as well as solutions for the industrial and energy distribution sectors. The Group also carries out projects in the gas sector, particularly in the area of gas storage operations, for which a suite of products has been developed to support commercial and technical processes related to the storage of this commodity in an optimal way. The operation of one of the companies has been dedicated to activities in the field of integration, data processing and sharing, and optimization of continuous processes taking place in large-scale industrial facilities. In the next phase of the Group’s development, a company was spun off to be responsible for providing engineering services consisting of programming digital automation systems for Western corporations in these sectors operating on the Polish market. From the beginning of the TT Group’s activities, its activity has been focused on providing specialized solutions and IT systems for industry (power, gas, manufacturing industries) , so this segment is crucial for the Group’s companies and the largest number of projects are carried out in this area. The TT Group’s almost thirty years of activity in this area translates directly into the company’s resources. It is a potential consisting of proprietary software codes, product documentation and procedures, which are the result of work on several hundred projects carried out on five continents, by well-trained, experienced engineers who are energy specialists. Their experience and level of knowledge is confirmed by hundreds of scientific publications at home and abroad, certificates and international patents. The new direction of the TT Group’s business is IT solutions dedicated to the medical sector The beginning of activities in this segment is a response to the dynamic progress of informatization of the healthcare sector at home and abroad. The Group’s structure includes a department that carries out research and development work in the field of bioinformatics and medical informatics. A team of experts develops specialized software, dedicated to hospitals, laboratories and doctors, which is used to support calculations, develop statistics and analyze medical data AND monitor the quality of treatment. One of the Group’s areas of activity is continuous IT support and administrative support of IT systems, management of private, hybrid and public cloud systems. In particular, projects are carried out to integrate and migrate local (on-premise) services to SAAS, PAAS and IAAS public cloud services selected by the client. - Support of business processes in electricity and gas market trading
- Outsourcing of software services, i.e. design of development and maintenance of IT solutions, as well as consulting and training in the latest cooperation models – team leasing, managed services, dedicated solutions and support for the client’s existing teams.

Selected Transition Technologies companies focus on providing proprietary products dedicated to specific business sectors or selling them in a standardized form, which allows access to IT solutions also for smaller entities. These solutions are developed based on a thorough analysis of the market needs and the specifics of the customers’ operations, thus ensuring the highest quality and efficiency in service. Other TT Group companies specialize in providing specialized IT services to key strategic customers. Development through spin-offs

Growth through acquisitions
An undeniable step forward for GKTT in 2023 was international acquisitions. The establishment of the Indian company “TTMS SOFTWARE INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED”, which was finalized in Q4 2023 by Transition Technologies MS S.A …, which also completed at that time discussions for the purchase of shares planned for Q1 2024 of the Swiss company “Pixel Plus AG”. TTMS India will play a key role in serving our customers in the Asian market, working closely with our existing regional partner, TTMS Malaysia. Pixel Plus, meanwhile, specializes in projects using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The company also offers consulting services and develops IT solutions for the banking, public, industrial and sports sectors.
